In August 2024, I received a recommendation on Dprofile in the "Graphic Design" section for this project.
Awards:
The advertising materials primarily feature a layout consisting of: the logo; headline and text; side panels in the shape of branded electrical brackets with contact information; and an advertising image set against a background pattern with a side panel in the shape of branded electrical brackets. Other similar layouts combining these elements may also be used. This design is simple, unique, unobtrusive, and at the same time, attention-grabbing.
Key Visual:
For headings, the bold and tall Oswald Family font is used, while for body text, the simple and highly legible Inter Family font is employed. Both fonts are free for personal and commercial use.
Fonts:
Unconventional and somewhat experimental colours were chosen – yellow, symbolising electricity, and purple, associated with innovation. These colours were selected to attract young people and align well with the brand’s positioning.
Colours:
To design a logo, corporate identity, and various assets in a modern, stylish, and sometimes bold design that would distinguish Electrocode from other electronics stores and appeal to young people.
Objectives:
The logo has been developed in two versions: a wordmark and a shorter version (icon). Both feature a sharp, "electric" style with angles of 60, 70, and 80 degrees, perfectly aligning with the brand’s positioning. The wordmark and the short version are not directly connected and are used separately because the full "Electrocode" name is quite long, which may not be ergonomic on certain materials. Hence, two distinct logos were created. The wordmark uses a modified Inter Bold font, while the short version features the code symbol </>, with a lightning bolt replacing the /.

Client:
Electrocode – an electronics store offering a wide range of products, including home appliances, smartphones, tablets, laptops, smart devices, gaming consoles, televisions, and much more. Previously, Electrocode stores functioned simply as outlets for various tech products, lacking a defined audience and recognisable brand identity. However, the brand decided to undergo a redesign, changing its goals, mission, and values. We chose a modern, minimalist style with a distinctive and memorable identity that stands out from competitors, aiming to attract a youthful audience aged 16 to 25 – a demographic eager for change and innovation.
